Introduction Sri Aurobindo was born in Calcutta on 15 Aug, 1872. ‘ The renaissance in India’ is written by Sri Aurobindo in 1918. He was the first political leader in India to openly put forward, in his journal ‘Bande Mataram’ the ideas of complete independence for the country. He has begun the practice of yoga at 1905 in Baroda, and several fundamental spiritual realization.

His work In 1926, with the help of his spiritual collaborator, the mother, he founded the Aurobindo ashram. Among his writing are ‘The Life Divine, the synthesis of yoga and savitri’. He left his body on 5, dec’ 1950 and evolved to his inner spiritual life and work. He has been interest to political and went to Pondicherry in order to devote himself entirely to his inner spiritual life and also for called integral yoga.
