3. SOIL POLLUTION SOIL POLLUTION AND CONSERVATION Is the result of the production or addition of unwanted materials and substances to soil. This affects the health of plants, animals, and people.

4. SOIL POLLUTION AND CONSERVATION Farmers use fertilizers and pesticides to grow more crops to protects them from pests like insects and rats. However, too much use of fertilizers and pesticides also pollute the soil and deplete the nutrients that plants get from it.
