INTRODUCTION This project is to develop a system that minimizes the working cost of seed sowing operation. The automated seed sowing robot contains Arduino, sensors, motor driving circuit, sowing mechanism and motors. There are battery powered wheels and dc motor built in these wheels. This system provides all the facilities necessary to work efficiently and reduce labor dependency. Seed sowing robot will move on various ground contours.

PROPOSED SYSTEM Increasing population requires increased food production which in turn necessitates improved cultivation involving the proper utilization of seeds and fertilizers with minimal labor. The main objective of AGRIBOT is efficient utilization of resources and the reduction of labor.It can perform various tasks like soil testing, sowing of seeds, ploughing , water spraying. 4

SOLAR PANEL A solar panel is a device that converts sunlight into electricity by using photovoltaic (PV) cells. PV cells are made of materials that generate electrons when exposed to light. The electrons flow through a circuit and produce direct current (DC) electricity, which can be used to power various devices or be stored in batteries. RECHARGABLE BATTERY A rechargeable battery, storage battery, or secondary cell (formally a type of energy accumulator), is a type of electrical battery which can be charged, discharged into a load, and recharged many times, as opposed to a disposable or primary battery, which is supplied fully charged and discarded after use. It is composed of one or more electrochemical cells. 7

BLUETOOTH MODULE Bluetooth module is used to connect small devices like mobile phones using a short-range wireless connection to exchange files. It uses the 2.45HZ frequency band. The transfer rate of the data can vary up to 1Mbps and is in range of 10 meters. It uses the UAR T protocol to make it easy to send and receive data wirelessly. 8

MOTOR DRIVERS A motor driver takes the low-current signal from the controller circuit and amps it up into a high-current signal, to correctly drive the motor. Three motor drivers are used to control the different subsystems including the robot wheels control,seeding mechanism,ploughing mechanism. SOIL MOISTURE SENSOR The soil moisture sensor consists of two probes which are used to measure the volumetric content of water. The soil moisture sensor senses the moisture content in the soil and if the moisture content is less, water will be pumped to the soil, once the soil has enough moisture level then the water flow stops. 9

ARDUINO UNO Arduino UNO is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header and a reset button. 12 Digital pins are used for contolling robot. Each motor uses 2 digital pins. Input voltage is of 7-12V and operating voltage is 5V. 10

RELAY 11 A relay is an electrical switch that can be used to control devices and systems that use higher voltages. Relay is a single device that has an electromagnet and a switch, or it can be the solid-state type. The relay module, when paired with an Arduino, can control various appliances and devices.

LED INDICATOR A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits light when current flows through it. Electrons in the semiconductor recombine with electron holes, releasing energy in the form of photons. The color of the light is determined by the energy required for electrons to cross the band gap of the semiconductor. White light is obtained by using multiple semiconductors or a layer of light-emitting phosphor on the semiconductor device. 12

WORKING In this system ,control the Agribot using HC -05 Bluetooth module with communication of UART. Send commands from android app to the HC-05, based on respected command the robot will perform functions such asseeding , ploughing and moving. Water pump operate by the condition of soil sensor it may be wet or dry. 14

APPLICATIONS Monitoring the crops. Measuring ph levels in the soil. Planting seeds. Helps in various field operations for movement. 15

ADVANTAGES Reduce the manual work. Less skill technicians is sufficient to operate. Labor requirement reduces Quantity of seeds reduce. Possibility of 24/7 operation without human intervention. 16

CONCLUSION The seed sowing system is effectively use for automatic sowing with great efficiency and accuracy. It facilitates the sowing of crops and automatically covers the land,reducing the need for human effort. Additionally this system can protect seeds from damage and increase the sowing rate. The energy required for robotic machine is lowered compared to other machines like tractors or agriculture tools.Morever this energy is sourced from abundant solar energy in nature. Less skill technicians is sufficient to operate. 17

FUTURE SCOPE We can also add the feature of water sprinkler. With the help of AI algorithms, we can introduce so many features. By using ZigBee module we can extend the Bluetooth range. By using High power Arduino we can control high speed wheels . 18
