Content Appropriateness: The content appropriateness for the topics completed during 22 nd April 2024 to 4 th June 2024 are as below: Module Content as per Lesson Plan Appropriateness 1 Basics of Database: Introduction, Database Architecture, RDBMS architecture Entity – Relationship Model: Introduction to ER model, Entities and Relationships, Modelling Weak Entities and Design choices, Relational data model and Notation of Keys. Understand concept of RDBMS Architecture Ability to generate ER models for organizations, companies etc. Able to understand the Entities. 2 Introduction to Relational Algebra: Operations in Relational Model, uses of Renaming, Join and Division in Relation Algebra, relation model and outer join operation examples, convert ER model to Relational Model calculus, Introduction to Tuple Relational Calculus, Example TRC queries.
