10. Interpreting a bar graph 1- Start by saying exactly what the chart shows/ presents/ indicates .

Topic Sentence Our very first sentence in Task 1 should always be a paraphrase of the question.  Paraphrasing  is when we rewrite phrase or sentence so that it has different words but keeps the same meaning. We can do this in a number of different ways, but the simplest way is to use synonyms.
