6. ADJECTIVE Describes a noun or pronoun Examples: red, tall, fat, short, blue, beautiful, sour, bitter, etc.

7. PREPOSITION Used before a noun, pronoun or gerund to show place, time direction in the sentence Examples: at, in, on, above, from, around, etc.

8. CONJUNCTION Joins words or groups of words in a sentence Examples: and, because, yet, therefore, moreover, since, or , so, but, until, etc.

9. INTERJECTION Expresses strong emotion and often followed by an exclamation Examples: well!, Aha!, Hooray!, Yeah!, Oops!, Whew!, Wow!, etc.

10. ARTICLE A word placed before a noun to modify the noun Examples: the, an, a, these, this, that, those, etc.
