What is Addition?
How do we add numbers?
When adding numbers, is it increasing or decreasing?
Why do we need to learn how to add numbers?

KWL “Know-What-Learn” K Know W What L Learn What I know about Fraction? What I want to know about fraction? What did I learn?
Lesson Proper 03 Here you can describe the content of the section
How to add Fractions? Make sure that the fractions are similar fractions before adding. Similar fractions are two or more fractions having the same denominators. If the fractions are dissimilar fractions, change it to similar fractions by finding the LCD or Least Common Denominator. Then change the numerator following the formula: Numerator= Finally, add the numerators the copy the LCD/denominator.
Example Find the value of “n” in + 1 = n Step 1: Add the whole numbers 3+1 = 4 Step 2: Add the fractions + = Step 3: Combine the sum of the whole numbers and fractions N = 4
Example B. Find the value of “n” in 2 + 2 = n 2 + 2 = (2+2) = 4
Example C. Find the value of “n” in + = n Step 1: Find the LCD using Continue-Division Method.
Example Step 2: Change the fractions to similar fractions. + = + = + = =
Example D. Find the value of “n” in 1 + 1 = n + 1 = (1+1) = 2
