2. COMPARATIVE El comparativo se forma : Añadiendo “ er ” al adjetivo si tiene una sÍlaba. “tall er ”, small er ”... Si el adjetivo acaba en consonante + vocal + consonante, doblamos la consonante final. “Big ger” Si el adjetivo acaba en “e”, sólo añadimos “r”. “Nice r ” Poniendo “ more ” delante del adjetivo si tiene más de dos sÍlabas. “ more beautiful”, “ more intelligent”... Si el adjetivo tiene dos sÍlabas ponemos “ more ”, excepto a los acabados en “er” o “y”. “clever er ”, “happ ier ”... Después del adjetivo ponemos “ than ” (que). He is bigg er than me. (Él es más grande que yo) John is tall er than Mary. (John es más alto que Mary) My book is more interesting than yours. (Mi libro es más interesante que el tuyo)

SUPERLATIVE El superlativo se forma: Añadiendo “ est ” al adjetivo si tiene una sÍlaba. “The tall est ”, “The small est ” Si acaba en consonante + vocal + consonante, doblamos la consonante. “The big gest” Si acaba en “e”, sólo añadimos “st”. “The nice st ” Poniendo “ most ” delante del adjetivo si tiene más de dos sÍlabas. “The most wonderful”, “The most boring”… Si el adjetivo tiene dos sÍlabas ponemos “ most ” excepto a los acabados en “er” o “y”. “The clever est ”, “The happi est ”...   Delante del superlativo ponemos “ the ”. He is the most intelligent in the class. (Él es el más inteligente de la clase) Peter is the tall est of all. (Peter es el más alto de todos) My house is the bigg est in the village. (Mi casa es la más grande del pueblo)
