Adjectives may be divided into the following k inds : 1. Adjectives of Quality 2. Adjectives of Quantity 3. Adjectives of Number 4. Demonstrative Adjectives 5. Interrogatives Adjectives 6. Possessive Adjectives

Adjectives of Quality: indicate the quality of a noun. Examples: 1. Raman is a good boy . 2. He has a black dog

2. Adjectives of Quantity: measuring words that modify noun. Examples: I did not eat any bread. There is little sugar in the pot.

3. Adjectives of number: show how many persons or things are meant . Examples: 1. A month has four weeks. 2. There are some pictures on the wall.

4. Demonstrative Adjectives: point out which person or thing is meant . Examples: 1. This man is very handsome. 2. Those flowers are very beautiful.

5. Interrogatives Adjectives: used with nouns to ask questions . Examples: 1. Whose book is this? 2. Which way shall we go?

6. Possessive Adjectives: show possession or belonging. Examples: 1. His book is on the table. 2. I found my pen.
