Alternatives to If Suppose, provided, as long as, otherwise, unless

As long as/provided that To talk about a future possibility and its result as long as/provided that + simple present, will + infinitive Used when we want to emphasize the condition that needs to be present so that something can happen or be done. As long as more common in speaking Provided that more formal and more common in written language Examples: As long as you don’t make a mess, I will allow you to use this room.
