Nearly all colleges and universities in the United States and Canada — as well as more than 700 universities worldwide — consider AP Exam scores for admission, and grant credit and placement for qualifying AP Exam scores. Most universities also acknowledge course participation, regardless of AP score, favorably in the admission process.
AP Credit Policy The AP exam is conducted by the College Board in specific subjects. It is an entrance exam for high school students to apply to universities in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, and Singapore, among other countries. Harvard : Harvard accept AP Credit for classes in which a student earned a 5 on the AP Exam. These credits are accepted under a program called “Advanced Standing.” To qualify, students must earn a 5 on a minimum of 4 AP tests, transferring a total of 32 credits University of British Columbia: If you achieve a grade of 4 or better on approved AP exams, UBC will grant you first-year university credit. The UK university system regards AP exams as equivalent to A levels, the most advanced credential earned by British high school students.
