School Performance Background #ATVHS4P’s # CI Project School Performance Background An English Oral Reading Verification Test (ORVT) was conducted on September 22, 2023, for Grade 8 students. The Narra section had the highest number of students, with a frequency of 17, with reading levels in the Frustration range. Three students from section Narra have comprehension levels in grades 3 and 6, while eleven of the seventeen Grade 8 students have a comprehension level in Grade 4. It is clear that these students' comprehension levels are below those of their grade level.

Result of the Intervention #ATVHS4P’s # CI Project Pilot Learnings: Constant right practice makes perfect. Customize the reading materials according to the needs of the students Motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic) and thorough follow up helps a lot in forming reading habit
Result of the Intervention #ATVHS4P’s # CI Project Rollout Learnings: The roll-out is given to frustration readers of Grade 8-Lauan with help of other teachers The team uses the same strategies and IMs, since it is found out that such strategies and IMs were effective in the Remedial Activity Use comics and storyboards for reading and comprehension remediation
