About the Department There are Disciplinary specific core courses (DSC) prescribed by the Mangalore University. Open elective courses offered by the respective departments as prescribed by the Mangalore University. Apart from the above, the students will be learning, Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) like Kannada & English, Environmental studies or Indian constitution, Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC)- Skill based and value based courses like digital fluency, Yoga, Health & wellness.

Objectives To provide basic knowledge regarding the concepts, principles and functions of management To constantly update and guide students on contemporary business insights with a mindset to relate to the curriculum To instil employability and entrepreneur skills among rural and under privileged students to best prepare for ever changing needs of the industry To endow the students with manners, etiquettes and soft-skills.

ADMISSION RULES All students who possess the required eligibility as laid down by the University may seek admission. The student should provide all necessary documents at the time of admission. All admitted students will have to pay the fees prescribed by the Government of Karnataka, Mangalore University, and the College. The fees once collected will not be refunded under any circumstances. Students who apply with false certificates and testimonials will be dismissed from the college. The Principal of the college has the right to dismiss without any prior notice the students who do not follow the rules of the college .

RULES AND REGULATIONS 1) All students MUST BE IN UNIFORM inside the college campus or when they represent the college and also during the Internal and University Exams. The design of the uniform is prescribed by the college. Action Will Be Taken Against Students Who Alter The Pattern In Any Way. 2) COLLEGE IDENTITY CARD is a part of the College Uniform and therefore all students must wear the same on all days COMPULSORILY. 3) Use Of Mobile Phones By The Students In The College Campus Is STRICTLY PROHIBITED as per Government and University order. If found using in the class, it will be CONFISCATED. 4) ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY. Students who have less than 75% attendance are not eligible to appear for the University Examination.

5) Strict action will be initiated against students who are habitual latecomers to the class, show disrespect to the staff and exhibit vulgarity in words and actions. 6) In case any student intentionally damages college property like building, library books, furniture or water filters etc., they will have to bear such damages. In all such matters, the Principal's decision is final and binding. 7) Use of Lab computers to see Facebook, YouTube, movies, unauthorized sites and playing games is strictly prohibited. 8) No student is allowed to participate in any political activities. Moreover, students are not allowed to organize any programs against the government or against any political party in the college premises. 9) As per the order of the Central and State Governments, RAGGING ISA PUNISHABLE OFFENCE AND IS BANNED IN COLLEGES. Legal proceedings will be initiated against any student indulging in ragging

10) Students are not permitted to smoke, consume alcohol, 'gutka' and any other drugs in the college premises. 11) Students or outsiders are not permitted to bring vehicles into the college premises without a valid license. 12) Students are not permitted to provide information about college activities to the media without the permission of the Principal. 13) In case of misunderstanding or clashes among the students, the same should be immediately brought to the notice of the Principal or staff members. 14) All students should exhibit disciplined and responsible behaviour in the college campus. 15) Meet all deadlines of assignments, submission of projects, records and posters. 16) Students are not supposed to loiter in the college corridors or college premises.

17) No student shall collect any money without the written permission of the Principal. 18) When the teacher enters the classroom, the students rise, remain standing still they are directed to sit down. When the attendance roll is called, each one must rise and give the presence 19)Scribbling on the walls and desks etc. should be avoided.  20) All students should be very particular about the cleanliness of the college.  The Principal can take action against any student who disturbs the discipline, peace and harmony of the college. It is the responsibility of all the students to live peacefully and behave with mutual love and respect
