Bhakra Dam is a dam on the Sutlej River in Bhakra Village Bilaspur district, Himachal Pradesh in northern India . The length of the dam is 1700 ft. and the width about is 30 ft., with the height of 741 ft. It forms the Govind Sagar Reservoir which hold up to 9.34 billion cubic meters of water Bhakra Dam
