• Cerebellum
• Brain stem
• Diencephalon

4. 1.Cerebrum
• It is the largest portion of brain
• It is located in the upper portion of brain responsible for learning &
senses
Lobes of Cerebrum -
There are four lobes in cerebrum
1.Frontal lobes
2.Parietal lobes
3.Temporal lobes
4. Occipital lobes

5. Cerebellum
• It is the second largest portion of brain
•It is located below the posterior part of cerebrum
• It is also known as little brain
• It control muscle contraction, movement, balance of body etc.

6. Brain stem
•The brain stem is a stem like part of brain that is connected with the spinal
cord.
•It is mainly composed of
Mid Brain - It is mainly control the function of sensory organ
Pons – It maintain balance between body and mind
Medulla Obangate - It mainly control in voluntary action of body like –
respiration,heart rate ,yawing,vomating

7. Diencephalon
• It is the posterior part of brain that connects mid brain the cerebrum
•It mainly composed -
Thalmus – relay station for sensory input
Hypothalmus – hormones regulation , emotional and behavioral
response etc .
Epithelamus – It secrate a hormones called melatonin
