NAME- RAVI SAURABH USN- 1AM22MC074 CAMPUS RECRUITMENT SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION : A college campus recruitment system that consists of a student login, company login and an admin.The software system allows the students to create their profiles and upload all their details including their marks onto the system. The admin can check each student details and can remove faulty accounts. The system also consists of a company login where various companies visiting the college can view a list of students in that college and also their respective resumes. The software system allows students to view a list of companies who have posted for vacancy.
Existing system: Presently recruitment is done manually. That’s if a company is approaches a college to hire there students. The college has to make announcement through circular or by other communication medium with the requirement criteria. Then the students get has to apply by communicating their respective in charge. This method takes time and paper work, if a student is absent on a particular day he won’t be able to apply for the job, he will miss his opportunity, After company has to do short listing manually.
Proposed system: Campus Recruitment is aimed at developing a web-based and central recruitment Process system for college faculty and students. Some features of this system will be searching for jobs, searching information about a company, giving feedback and sharing with friends about the vacancy to your friend by the students. Whereas the admin is allowed to add upcoming events, maintain students rank information. Rectifying students queries from the feedback.
Features of Job Portals : One of the ways to improve employment mobility is to provide online job offer services. Online job portals can help jobseekers as they contain all required information about available vacancies in a single point. Such portals enhance efficiency in job recruitment as applicants can match their qualifications and skills to the requirements of employers. Generally, searching for jobs on the internet involves a process of information collecting because the jobseeker gathers information contained in the job portals, during the search.
ADVANTAGES : ⇒ There will be no need of putting up notice or emailing every student about the company coming in college. The students can keep updated themselves through this software. ⇒ The company can view all students' detail and system can shortlist students according to their criteria instead of doing manually. ⇒ There is admin login that can view and manage both students and company's account and also can put up notifications. ⇒ Student can register online instead of going to placement department for registration. ⇒ This system saves time and efforts.
FUTURE SCOPE OF PROJECT ⇒ In a nutshell it can be summarized that the future scope of the project is around maintaning information ⇒ We can give more advance software for campus recruitment system including more facilities ⇒ We will host the platform in online servers to make it accessible worldwide. ⇒ Integrate multiple load balancers to distribute the loads of the system.
CONCLUSION : One greater advantage of hosting web is to make the resource to know all and to become familiar who provides a way for development of organization while hosting the software it should be attractive, user-friendly, and easier to access. This software constitutes all this characteristics It reduces the manpower to some extent It reduces the time cost. It avoids redundancy of data and also system supports for taking the floppy backups of front end for future enhancements
