1. CASE PRESENTATION PREPARED BY DR HEMANGI VARIYA PG PART – 1 DEPARTMENT OF CASE TAKING AND REPERTORY RAJKOT HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE PARUL UNIVERSITY

2. A 67 years old male patient on date 4 th May, 2024 at 05:00 p.m. with the complaints of bluish-black discoloration with swelling around the right eye . On detailed interrogation, it was elicited that on the same day in morning around 11:00 a.m. patient was met with an accident by slipping from active. Then was taken to Hospital and had seven stitches below right eye. There was no swelling for few hours after the above treatment. After around 04:00 p.m. slowly the swelling around the right eye stared but stil l was not much change in colour and then slowly the colour at the part of swelling becomes slightly bluish-black. At 11:00 a.m. after one hour of accident At 09:30 p.m. on same day

4. PAST HISTORY: Appendectomy before 30 years Left Eye surgery before 20 years Hyperthyroidism before 1 year FAMILY HISTORY: Grandparents – Natural death (No specific history available) Father – Death before 13 years (Colon Cancer) Mother – Natural death before 10 years Sister – Hyperthyroidism

6. LIFE SPACE INVESTIGATION: Was in slight anxiety after accident. Have so me fear after this accident and was much tensed about injury. 7. DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS: Subconjunctival Haemorrhage – one or more blood spots appear on the white of your eye, occurs when tiny blood vessel breaks just under clear surface of your eyes. Bruise of Eyelid – also called Black Eye. The swelling and bruise get worse for few days. Disappear in 1 to 2 weeks. Orbital Fracture – break of one or more of the bones that make up your socket. FINAL DIAGNOSIS: BRUISE OF EYELID (BLACK EYE)
