ROLE OF CIET IN EDUCATION To design and produce media software especially mass media To optimise the utilisation of EDUSAT communication technologiesand terrestrial transmission on National channels To explore and infuse the appropriate and critical use of interactive digital content, web based communication and participatory networks To undertake research and evaluation studies

5. ROLE OF CIET IN EDUCATION contd. Documentation of eduactional media programmes Dissemination of media programmes and through broadcast and non broadcast modes Organise capacity building programmes for teachers and teacher educators in concepts and applications of techniques To advice and coordinate academic and technical programmes of SIETs To provide consultancy to institutions in the development, utilisation and evaluation of Educational Technologies
