Practices
Are the actual exercise/use or application/performance of ideas or beliefs that
show repeated actions whether in positive or negative way.
Good practices are the repeated actions that give credit to that specific field.
Practices in profession are repeated actions or continuous performance of job
that improve or maintain one’s skill or proficiency in general.
Practices shall be based on the actual performance of the duties and
responsibilities of an employee but with a twist that jives with current situation
or setting or simply adoptive to the needs and trends of present

The Philippine Education System
The Philippine education system covers both formal and non-formal
education. Formal education is a progression of academic schooling
from elementary (grade school) to secondary (high school) and
tertiary levels (TVET and higher education).
RA 9155 or the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001
RA 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994
RA 7796 or the Technical Education and Skills Development Act of
1994

Trifocalizationin Education
The system is tri-focalized by law into basic, technical-vocational and
higher education under three different agencies: the Department of
Education (DepED) headed by a Cabinet Secretary for basic
education; the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority
(TESDA) headed by a Director General for technical-vocational
education and training; and the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED) under the Office of the Philippine President headed by the
Chairperson of a collegial body of five Commissioners.
