Objectives To support the implementation of environmental policies and programs in line with DepEd Order No. 93, s. 2011 and other relevant regulations. To foster a sense of environmental responsibility and stewardship among students, preparing them to become advocates for sustainable development To promote environmental awareness and education among students through information campaigns, seminars, and school-based activities.
II. Summary of Activities On September 9, 2025, a Clean-Up Drive was conducted in Poblacion , Dangcagan , Bukidnon, led by the YES-O (Youth for Environment in Schools Organization) Officers. The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and community involvement in maintaining cleanliness. Participants collected trash along streets, and public spaces. The event fostered teamwork and responsibility among the youth and local volunteers. Overall, the clean-up drive was a successful initiative toward a cleaner and greener community.

V. Challenges Encounter Hot Weather Conditions – The intense heat during the activity made it physically exhausting for participants and required more frequent breaks. Presence of Stray Animals – Dogs and other stray animals in the area disrupted the activity and posed minor safety concerns.

VII. Recommendation To sustain the positive impact of the clean-up drive, it is recommended to hold similar activities regularly, such as monthly or quarterly. Coordination with local authorities should be strengthened to ensure proper waste disposal and logistical support. Volunteers need better preparation through safety briefings and access to sufficient cleaning tools, water, and rest areas. Expanding outreach and awareness campaigns will help engage more community members beyond the YES-O group. Finally, promoting proper waste segregation during the activity will encourage responsible environmental practices.
