Teaching Assistant
•Name: Line Le
•Email: [email protected]
•Mobile: 45 88 58 36
•Assistance with obligatory exercises, project work, exam prep.
•Line is currently working on her MSc project entitled “Design of CMOS
image sensor with embedded per-column ramp ADCs”

Course goal
•Learn how CMOS image sensors measure light and colour and output
digital images
•Understand the basics of the signal chain from light in to JPEG compressed
images out
•Focus on pixels and readout circuits, A/D conversion, image signal
processing, signal/noise ratio and dynamic range
•Hope to spur your interest in designing your own image sensor chip, for
instance in an MSc or PhD project.
