Outline History What is co-education? Why some societies supported co education ? why co-education was introduced? Co education in Kurdistan. The advantages & disadvantages of co-education.

Where was co education introduced? In ancient times, co-education existed in Sparta in Greece. There was no discrimination between boys and girls. They studied and played together. Along with academic education, physical training was also given to both genders.

What is co-education? A system of education that provides mixed gender education is called  co education. Co-education is normal for western societies but it is a topic of great debate in Muslim countries. The perspective about co-education may be different in different cultures but handling both males and females together and educating them is a challenge for many institutes worldwide .

Why some societies supported co-education ? The supporters of this system favor the system mainly on two factors Economical factors Sociological factors

Economical Factor Available infrastructure could be sufficient. No need to open separate schools and universities on basis of gender. Good for underdeveloped countries

Sociological factors Co education provides a more realistic way of training young people to take their places naturally in a wider community of men and women. Co education allows young people to express their views openly. Boys and girls gain social maturity through valuable interactive pale and shared learning in co education.

Why Was Co-Education Introduced? Co-Education was created to eliminate the differences between both the genders and make every human being equal effective regardless of their gender.

Co education in Kurdistan Schools Universities Private Public (governmental)

The advantages & disadvantages of co education The advantages: In co education both the male and female protectives will be explored in class discussions and this is a very imprortant learning experience. Spirit of co operation and healthy competition thrives in the coeducational system. Both genders get equal opportunities of learning

Disadvantages of Coeducation Lack of concentration . As we all know that opposite sex attracts each other so they lose temperament and momentum to their studies. Coeducation is caused to make romantic relationship between class mates thus some students destroy their future by wasting their precious time in unnecessary activities . Many people across the world have been seen to say that the coeducation system is against their religious.

To sum up Despite all of advantages and disadvantages of co-education or mixed education is growing rabidly around the corner.  But it all depends to us that how we think about this system, how we behave it? One thing is sure that if we take it positively then coeducation is the best system for making our children confident. It is the responsibility of parents to groom their children in such manner which help their children to make difference between good and bad

THERE IS NOTHING GOOD OR BAD BUT YOUR THINKING MAKES IT SO

Thanks for your attention
