Clarity of Thought Asking Questions Methods to Break the Barriers of Communication The idea or message should be clear in your mind before you try to convey it. If it is not clear to you, it is not going to be clear to the listener either. Understanding audience The speaker must communicate according to the level or ability of the listener. Instead of assuming that the listener has received our message correctly, the speaker should ask questions to ensure it.
