PRE-TEST What are the 3 domains of educational technology according to Stosic 2015? Educational technology as a replacement for teacher, a mentor, and a learning tool Educational technology as a tutor, a teaching tool, and a learning tool c. educational technology as a replacement for teacher, a tutor and as a learning tool
PRE-TEST Correct Answer: b. Educational technology as a tutor, a teaching tool, and a learning tool
PRE-TEST 2. It is one of the domains of educational technology that entails that technology is being used to facilitate and lighten the work of a teacher. a. Technology as a tutor b. Technology as a teaching tool c . Technology as a learning tool
PRE-TEST Correct Answer b. Technology as a teaching tool
PRE-TEST 3. What is the role of a teacher in teaching using educational technology that means that he/she must develop real formats of instructional media that are required for a particular teaching/learning? A teacher as a creator A teacher as a designer A teacher as a evaluator
PRE-TEST Correct Answer A teacher as a creator
PRE-TEST 4. How would a teacher became an implementer in teaching using educational technology? Through planning unit of instruction Through designing the contents of every instructional materials as planned based on specific unit instructional & learning previously determined. Through using/testing in the process & learning every educational material that has been based on what was planned
PRE-TEST Correct Answer c. Through using/testing in the process & learning every educational material that has been based on what was planned

ROLES OF TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING & LEARNING
GROUP SHARING Are learners of today interested to use technology in order to learn?
GROUP SHARING Do teachers have the skill to use technology to enhance their teaching?
According to Stosic (2015), educational technology has three domains: Technology as a tutor Technology as a teaching tool Technology as a learning tool
Three domains of educational technology 1. Technology as a tutor -Technology can support the teacher to teach another person or the technology itself can be a tutor
Three domains of educational technology 2. Technology as a teaching tool -Is being used to facilitate & lighten the work of the teacher.
Three domains of educational technology 3. Technology as a learning tool - It makes learning easy & effective.
A. FOR TEACHERS & TEACHING Here are some example of the myriad of roles that technology can do for teachers & teaching: Technology provides enormous support to the teacher as the facilitator of learning.
A. FOR TEACHERS & TEACHING Technology has modernized the teaching-learning environment
A. FOR TEACHERS & TEACHING Technology improves teaching-learning process & ways of teaching. -There are arrays of teaching methods & strategies that can use technology which are found compatible with learning style.
A. FOR TEACHERS & TEACHING Technology opens new fields in educational researches -interpreting tests, assessment & other evaluation results
A. FOR TEACHERS & TEACHING Technology adds to the competence of teachers and inculcates scientific outlook
A. FOR TEACHERS & TEACHING Technology supports teacher professional development.
GROUP SHARING What are the roles of technology for teaching & learning?
THE ROLES OF TEACHER IN TEACHING USING EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY
ROLES OF TEACHER In the classroom the teacher is a media planner, designer, developer/maker, implementer and evaluator
ROLES OF TEACHER Planner Plan every unit of instruction & always providing for the use of educational materials when teaching the individual or group of learners.
ROLES OF TEACHER Designer Design the contents of every instructional material as planned based on specific unit instructional & learning previously determined.
ROLES OF TEACHER Creator Create /Develop in their real formats the instructional media that are required for a particular teaching/learning unit as planned & designed earlier.
ROLES OF TEACHER Implementer Use /Test in the process of instruction & learning every educational material that has been created based on what was planned & subsequently designed & developed.
ROLES OF TEACHER Evaluator Evaluate the effectiveness of the methodologies, techniques, & procedure that use every media type included in the process & see which produces the intended results.
ROLES OF TEACHER P- Plan for the lesson, instructional media, and methods D- Design for the contents of every instructional media C- Create the instructional material in their real forms U- Utilize the media & methods in teaching the lesson E- Evaluate the results of teaching & learning which is brought about by the media using methods that were used in the process
GROUP SHARING As a teacher, how would you use educational technology in delivering quality education during this pandemic?
Appropriate tools/Application/Software : ICT integration in Teaching-Learning Process
Objectives 1 . Understand the main use of the application/Software/tools ; 2 . Explain its advantage to the digital learners; 3 . Appreciate the importance of application/Software/tools l to the digital learners
ROLES OF TEACHER
DIGITAL TOOLS FOR LEARNING -Gmail -G-Drive -G-Docs -G-Slides -G-Sheets -G-Forms -G-Meet
DIGITAL Application for Learning
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Word processing – a basic and important skill to have for students through their formal schooling. Students are expected to progress in their skills through primary school and should be able to save documents, save them in different formats and understand what those formats mean.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Spreadsheets – as with word processors, to be able to save documents and to have sufficient typing skills. Primary exit skills include being able to set up columns, using basic formulas, inserting and deleting rows, changing font size etc.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Information literacy skills – web searching is an essential skill in the information age. Students need to know practical skills and critical skills such as understanding domain names and what they mean; knowing which are more trustworthy; knowing which are more useful for information and research.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Animation (clay or drawing) – stop motion is the best for students to practice and they can craft a story and develop their higher-order skills as they plan, monitor and evaluate their own work.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Presentation software – you could use Prezi or PowerPoint, whichever one you prefer and are familiar with the most. Ensure that by the end of primary school, they leave with skills such as being able to create handouts and notes pages, setting up animations, designing their own slide design and inserting tables, images, and smart art graphics.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Blogging – this is a type of website or part of a website that can be updated with new content from time to time. Most are interactive and allows students to have a controlled online presence.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Web 2.0 – one of best ways to develop higher-order skills for students. It includes Twitter, Facebook where you can create a class page and Tumblr which is awesome for digital images with short titles.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Publishing programs – the most familiar of these is MS Publisher which is great for developing literacy skills which makes it extremely useful in primary education.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Making a video – yep….students can create a video, edit it, and evaluate it as most iPads contain a recording camera. Students can transfer it to a program where can continue to piece together their work.
TOP LISTS OF ICT TOOLS Web design – students can do this anywhere and at any time these times. Did you know that if they have MS Word that they can create a single web page using this program? Awesome right!

INDIVIDUAL OUTPUT Aside from Professional reflection, you are going to create a lesson plan with ICT integration. Utilize your previous lesson plan and made some changes to incorporate the positive use of ICT
INDIVIDUAL OUTPUT Make also an assessment using KAHOOT!
