It is also known as collaborative teaching or co-teaching. 2 Definition Variations Various definitions of team teaching exist, emphasizing the joint responsibility of teachers for a significant part of the instruction for a group of students. 3 Characteristics The method is flexible, requires collective responsibility, and considers the needs of pupils and schools. It involves cooperative teaching and evaluation.
Types of Team Teaching Hierarchic Team Teaching This method organizes teachers in a hierarchical structure, with a team leader at the top and mid-level and normal teachers below. Synergetic Team Teaching In this approach, there is no differentiation between teachers, and groups are formed through the cooperation of two or more teachers.
