It is one of the plastic arts. Architecture is the art and technique of designing and building, as distinguished from the skills associated with construction . Literature broadly is any collection of written work, but it is also used more narrowly for writings specifically considered to be an art form, especially prose fiction, drama, and poetry.

Mauro Malang Santos  (January 20, 1928 – June 10, 2017), commonly known by the  mononym   Malang , was a Filipino and award-winning  cartoonist ,  illustrator , and  fine arts   painter . Imao was named National Artist of the Philippines for Visual Arts in 2006. A Tausūg , Imao is the first Moro to receive the recognition.  Fernando Amorsolo y Cueto (May 30, 1892 – April 24, 1972) was a portraitist and painter of rural Philippine landscapes. Nicknamed the "Grand Old Man of Philippine Art," he was the first-ever to be recognized as a National Artist of the Philippines.
