Introduction
To evaluate the performance of the students, the evaluator
records the specific incidents of effective behavior (positive)
and ineffective behavior (negative). The critical steps which are
useful for analyzing the events is known as critical incident
report. It is a set of procedures used for collecting direct
observations of human behavior that have critical significance
and meet methodically defined criteria. The description of
incident should be explained in detail, what a student did or said
that made a teacher believe he really understand something or
failed to understand it.
Definition
It is a set of an event in which data are limited to factors that
have direct bearing on the event itself.

He can also use other tools like usability test if that
caters more to his needs.

Critical incident method or critical incident technique is a performance appraisal tool in which analyses the behavior of students in certain events in
which either he performed very well and the ones in which he could have done better. Critical incident technique is used to collect data using a set of
procedures. In critical incident method the observer observes critical human behaviors, skills used, incidents that occur on the job.
