OBJECTIVE

As a Professor of International Business, my career objective is to contribute to the advancement of
knowledge through impactful teaching, interdisciplinary research, and industry-academia collaborations. I
aim to inspire future business leaders by fostering global perspectives, critical thinking and entrepreneurial
mindsets. I am committed to creating inclusive and innovative learning environments, mentoring emerging
scholars, and contributing to institutional growth through academic leadership and international
engagement.

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

▪ Currently, working as a Professor, School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Independent
University, Bangladesh (IUB).
▪ More than 30 years of teaching and research experience.
▪ Worked as a Pro-Vice Chancellor of Northern University Bangladesh (Appointed by the Chancellor
of the Universities).
▪ Worked as a Pro-Vice Chancellor of Canadian University of Bangladesh (Designate).
▪ Worked as a Dean of Faculty of Business Studies at East West University, State University of
Bangladesh, Eastern University, and Uttara University.
▪ Worked as a core faculty in leading private and public universities, such as Khulna University
(Public), North South University, East West University, BRAC University, Eastern University,
Canadian University of Bangladesh, and Northern University Bangladesh.
▪ Supervised two PhD and four M. Phil students of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP),
Dhaka. Currently, supervising six PhD and four M. Phil students of BUP.
▪ Served as a Peer Review Team Member (PRT Member) for ‘South Asian Quality Assurance
System (SAQS)’ of AMDISA, India and reviewed ICFAI Business School (AACSB Accredited
Institute), N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Indus Business Academy
(IBA) of India and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
▪ Published more than 100 research papers in National and International Refereed Journals which
were abstracted and Indexed by Scopus, ABDC, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, ESJI and DOI.
▪ Authored and co-authored books named Entrepreneurship Development - An Operational
Approach (English), Introduction to Insurance (Bengali), Organizational Behavior (Bengali),
Management Policy and Public Sector Management (Bengali), and Global Technological Change
Impact on Textile and Garment Workers (English) published by University Press (UPL) Limited,
Uttara Publications, Ahmed Publishing House and Lucky Book House of Bangladesh.
▪ Acting as a Chief Editor and Editorial Board Members of several National and International
Refereed Journals.
▪ Presented papers in more than 20 International Conferences held in Australia, USA, India, Nepal,
