MECHANICS: The teacher will divide the class into five groups. Each group have a cardboard and a paper boat. The teams will race their paper boats to the finish line by fanning them with the cardboard. Once a group’s boat crosses the finish line, they need to tap their other team member, and answer the question that the teacher pastes in the board. They will be given only 60 seconds to complete the task. The first group to finish the race and answer correctly will be declared the winner. SLAM RACE

Indoor recreational activities provide fun, fitness, and skill development. These activities include sports like badminton and volleyball, as well as fitness workouts like Zumba and dance. What is Indoor Recreational Activities?

Originated from the game "Poona" played by English army officers in India (17th century). Introduced to England in 1876 by the Duke of Beaufort. Became an Olympic sport in 1992. History of Badminton

Played indoors to avoid wind interference. Requires a racket and shuttlecock. Game formats: Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Winning score: 21 points; in case of deuce, a 2-point lead is required. Gameplay & Rules of Badminton

Invented by William J. Morgan in 1896 at Holyoke, Massachusetts. Originally called " Mintonette ," later changed to "Volleyball." Introduced to the Philippines in 1910 by Elwood S. Brown. Became an Olympic sport in 1964. HISTORY OF VOLLEYBALL

Team sport with six players per side. Court dimensions: 9x18 meters. Objective: Send the ball over the net and prevent it from touching own court. Scoring: Rally point system; first team to win 3 sets (each set = 25 points, with a 2-point lead in case of deuce). GAMEPLAY & RULES OF VOLLEYBALL

ACTIVITY 5: FITNESS AND RECREATION ONE The class will be divided into three group. Every group have an assigned topic which are one group will work on sports, another group for dance, and outdoor activity. Each group will recall the different fitness components. Discuss the physical fitness component needed I participating in active recreation. They will reflect their work focusing on the following question: What physical fitness components are involved in (sports, dance, outdoor) recreational activity? What fitness component is common in the recreational activities? How does active participation is recreational activities contribute to your fitness? Each will given 3 minutes to do the task. After 3 minutes you will share it in the class.
