History of Ghanewadi.
• Constructed in early 1930 , completed in 1935.
• Construction was initiated by then Nizam of
Hyderabad State
• Mr. Bezonji Faridoonji Jalnawalla took the
contract of building the Ghanewadi lake
and spent rupees two lakhs from his own pockets
so that people of Jalna could have enough water for the city.
