3. 2 classifications of Community 1. Small - such as barangays or coastal villages 2. Large - such as region, state, or nation

4. According to Murphy and Cunnigham (2003) -Community is given life by three (3) interacting people processes 1. An underlying web of human relation called social fabric. 2. A unique community power structure. 3. A set of resource flow that constitute the local economy

5. 2 main types of Community 1. Traditional type - Relates communities with geographical relation. 2. Alternative type - More subjective, integrative and feminist and addresses oppression and discrimination.
