Literary devices are defined as those devices which are used to explain literature in an art form.
These devices are descriptive that helps to explain a situation more exceedingly. This technique
is any consistent method an author uses to convey his or her message in a more clear way.
Literary devices are common structures used in writing. There are many different types of
literary devices used in sentences, some of them are given below:
Metaphor: Metaphors are one of the most extensively used literary devices. A metaphor refers to
a meaning or identity ascribed to one subject by way of another.

Simile: Similes are one of the most routinely used literary devices; referring to the
practice of drawing parallels or comparisons between two unrelated and discordant
things, people, beings, places and concepts.

Hyperbole: The purpose of hyperbole is to make a larger-than-life effect and overly stress a
specific point. Such sentences generally convey an action or sentiment that is generally not
practically/ realistically possible or plausible but helps emphasize an emotion. Visit
