Dengue Infection Dengue is a febrile illness with clinical manifestations ranging from asymptomatic infection to severe infection with multi-organ dysfunction. Dengue is a mosquito-transmitted virus and is the leading cause of arthropod-borne viral disease worldwide, posing a significant global health concern. Dengue infection consists of 3 condition phases; dengue fever, dengue hemorrhagic fever, and dengue shock syndrome.
