1. DEPARTMENTS OF HUMANITIES JAI MINESH ADIVASI UNIVERSITY, RANPUR KOTA

2. World Tribal Day 2021, falling on August 9, has welcomed learning opportunities for the members of the tribal community in Rajasthan. The CM of the state, carried out the formalities of establishing the bedrock of Jai Minesh Tribal University, Kota. He also inaugurated the Tribal Meena Girls Hostel in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, in the same virtual ceremony. After Indira Gandhi National Tribal University in Amarkantak , Madhya Pradesh, Jai Minesh Tribal University is the second institution being built to provide higher education to the Indian tribal community. University have been inaugurated to provide better education in humanities, science, commerce , IHM, MBA, BPT, library science and many more courses running for the youth living in the nearby villages. The Jai Minesh University in Kota, is an educational hub , that would hopefully ensure equality and liberty of the tribal community in the region and beyond.

3. OVERVIEW Departments of humanities offer UG(PASS COURSE) and PG in humanities with 30 seats in each subject. Humanities is a very important stream which teaches students the relationship between man and the environment. Departments of Humanities with its well qualified and experienced faculty aims to educate students about the vital role of the subjects in solving environmental, economic, political and social problems. The department of geography has well-equipped labs and aims at training the students for careers in academics, tourism, town planning, climatology, geomorphology, government office etc.

4. VISION AND MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT Department of humanities look forward to find innovative ways of teaching that can help students attending knowledge beyond the limits even outside the boundary wall of their university. Learning should not remain only work but passion for them . So in this way Department want to do research work too, to find my new dimensions of teaching that make me capable enough to do a remarkable work in the field of teaching with fully devotion and dedication The vision statement intended as a guide to help the organization make decisions that align with its philosophy and declared set of goals are- 1.Department of Humanities will conduct guest lectures every year. 2.Department of Humanities will organize seminar, workshops and conference. 3.Department of Humanities will go educational tour in every year. 4.Department of Humanities will do research project in Kota district . 5. Department of Humanities will organize quiz, poster making and field report.

SUBJECTS AND SEATS IN UG AND PG COURSES IN HUMANITIES IN UG SUBJECTS :- HINDI LITERATURE ENGLISH LITERATURE HISTORY ECONOMICS GEOGRAPHY SOCIOLOGY POLITICAL SCIENCE DRAWAING AND PAINTING SANSKRIT TOTAL SEATS 240 IN PG SUBJECTS:- HINDI LITERATURE , HISTORY, POLITICAL SCIENCE, GEOGRAPHY (TOTAL SEATS-30 IN EACH SUBJECTS)

7. AIMS 1.The teaching is to prepare the students of BA degree, to understand the development of the subject. 2. Students in Humanities will learn to use understanding of various subjects fields such as history , political science, economics , geography, Hindi literature , English literature ,environmental science , sociology. 3. They are trained to read and interpret maps in Geography. 4. They are also able to read and analyses archeological sites. 5. They are learnt about social ethics, culture and structure in Sociology. 6. They are commanded in Hindi and English languages. 7. Students will acquire scientific methodology of data handling, hypothesis generation, testing and analysis.

8. INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS - Department is going to teaching in innovative way, learning in first year on the way of research and practical knowledge. -Department is going to field work n search something new methods with theoretical knowledge . Conduct national seminar to interact with students to other dignitaries of Humanities to explore their knowledge. - In third year Department conduct international workshop with different subjects society. -In fourth year Exploring effective marketing strategies to promote the different courses, programs, and the Department of humanities. -In fifth year Maintain and enhance student, faculty, and community diversity initiatives.

9. Placement 1. After graduation and post graduation from JAI MINESH ADIVASI UNIVERSITY, they will be prepared for competitive exams in various field such as RAS,UPSC,PCS, assistant professor . 2. They will able to do research in Humanities field. 3. They can join meteorological department, town planning, GIS field, archeological department, ministry departments, language departments, social workers also.
