Teaching and Learning Procedures

Before the Lesson •Lesson purpose or intention. Encourage them to ask questions and help them connect to the new topic. • Activating Prior Knowledge . Connects the lesson with the learner’s prior knowledge •Unlocking of Difficulties. Defining new words and complex phrases. Lesson Language Practice Considering the whole lesson, words, phrases, and sentences encountered that cause difficulties for learners.

During the Lesson •Developing understanding. Involves a set of questions associated with the key idea. •Reading the key idea/stem. Involves understanding the concept of the topic. •Deepening Understanding. Undertaking a new set of questions with a higher level of complexity.

After the Lesson • A ssessment. Evaluating learning. •Making Generalizations and Abstractions. It will conclude the lesson by asking questions. •Enrichment or Remediation. •Remarks.
