DIGITAL ELECTRONICS Digital electronics is a field of electronics involving the study of digital signals and the engineering of devices that use or produce them. This is in contrast to analog electronics and analog signals. Digital electronic circuits are usually made from large assemblies of logic gates, often packaged in integrated circuits.
DIGITAL ELECTRONICS Digital Electronics is the sub-branch of electronics that deals with digital signals for processing and controlling various systems and sub-systems. In various applications like sensors and actuators, usage of digital electronics is increasing extensively . there are two types of signals, one is analog or continuous signal and the second one is Digital or discrete signal. So the science or field of research in the area of engineering is termed as Analog and Digital Electronics respectively.
BASIC LOGIC GATES Logic gates are the basic building blocks of any digital system. It is an electronic circuit having one or more than one input and only one output. The relationship between the input and the output is based on a certain logic. Based on this, logic gates are named as AND gate, OR gate, NOT gate etc . Logic gates are an important concept if you are studying electronics. These are important digital devices that are mainly based on the Boolean function. Logic gates are used to carry out logical operations on single or multiple binary inputs and give one binary output. In simple terms, logic gates are the electronic circuits in a digital system.
BASIC LOGIC GATES A logic gate is a circuit with one or more input voltages but only one output voltages. logic gates are fundamental building blocks of the digital system. NOT , OR, and AND Gates are the basic types of gates.
