In the previous lesson, we have discussed
the techniques and practices used in creating
contemporary arts. Today, we will focus on
identifying and researching local materials used
in creating art.
Today's lesson is about analyzing and
evaluating the use of local materials in creating
art. In our previous lesson, we learned how to
identify and research local materials used in
creating art. Today, we will apply our
knowledge to analyze and evaluate the
effectiveness of using these materials in
creating contemporary Philippine arts from the
regions.
B. Motivation (Engage)
At the end of the lesson, the students
should be able to analyze and evaluate the use
of local materials in creating art and understand
their importance in contemporary Philippine
arts from the regions.
Show examples of artworks that use local
materials, such as abaca fiber, coconut
shells, bamboo, and banig (woven mat).

pleasing composition.

F. Evaluation
The teacher will provide a quiz to assess the
learnings of the students. Make sure that the quiz
includes all the topics discussed for the whole week.
