Oxidative phosphorylation: I t's a series of oxidation-reduction reactions that use enzymes to oxidize nutrients and release chemical energy to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

SDH  is a unique mitochondrial enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of succinate to fumarate in the TCA cycle carrying electrons from FADH2 to the ubiquinone pool.

H +  = Proton Cytochrome c ( Cytc ) is  a heme protein that transfers electrons between complexes III and IV

Oxidation is the loss of electrons during a reaction by a molecule, atom or ion Proton gradient : free-energy change to pump H +  across the inner membrane Cation + Anion -
