Prescription/Medication Many drugs, including sleeping tablets, painkillers, and even some cold medications, can cause drowsiness, decreased decision-making, and poor coordination. Avoid driving in such cases. 2. Inhalants: Carrying s ubstances like glue, paint and thinners can cause dizziness and loss of coordination, affecting a driver's ability to operate a vehicle safely.  3. Peer Pressure People may feel pressured by friends or social situations to drive even when they are not fit to do so.
