The DU SOL entrepreneurship cell became a permanent fixture on the university campus in
2018. The cell encourages the notion of entrepreneurship through seminars, workshops, and
on-campus interactions with knowledgeable academics or visiting leaders.
Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB), Youth Entrepreneurship, Decent Work Activities,
UNCTAD from the United Nations, and other related initiatives to promote, develop, and enhance
students' perspectives, personalities, vocational skills, and self-employment growth take place
in Ecell of DU SOL.
The Government of India has also implemented a number of initiative programmes in the Ecell
of the DU SOL to help students improve their standing and experience stability and progress in
their chosen professions. These initiatives, which were started by the Ecell of DU SOL, include
the World Skills Competition Digital India, Startup India, Make In India, Swayam Online
Education, National Digital Library, NITI Ayog, and the Skill India programme.
Additionally, several members of the organization have taken part in the DU-SOL Ecell internship
or volunteer programmes, including those run by the National Innovation Foundation, the CSIR
Technologies, the GST, SIDBI Small B, and other highly regarded large corporations.
The Entrepreneurship Cell of the School of Open Learning brought large businesses,
corporations, and organizations inside the university to teach or train students. In order to
construct and fully meet the demand for a plan in society to make changes and boost the flow
of young minds, students will learn about new ventures, ideas, and concepts. The danger of
entrepreneurship and how ideas may grow into a tree of business startups will also be taught to
students.
DU SOL LIBRARY - SCHOOL OF OPEN LEARNING, DELHI UNIVERSITY
For campus students enrolled in all undergraduate and graduate programmes, Delhi University
School of Open Learning manages a comprehensive library with print and digital materials. At
the heart of the campus lies the library. In 1962, the SOL library was founded. In August 1991,
the SOL library was moved to the new SOL building on the DU campus. For each student who
wishes to study more for their particular exams, research papers, assignments, evaluations, and
more, the whole department's study material is available.
