The first hand-hold cell phone was demonstrated by  John F. Mitchell  and  Dr Martin Cooper of Motorola in 1973. It is weighing around 1kg and poor battery backup for 20 hours of charging.

In 1983, the Dyna TAC 8000x was the first to be commercially available in us market. From 1990 to 2011, mobile phone subscriptions grew from 12.4 million to over 6 billion,penetrating about 87% of the global population .

Usage of mobile phones in India In early 2000’s ,the mobile phones get start touch with India. Because of over competition in the field, a rapid growth occurs in India’s telecommunication network . Worlds second largest network as of may 2012 .

As per the international surveys cell phones have the more capability to effect the students and youth than the others. The use and abuse of the mobile phones have adverse impact on the academic performance of the students.

Reasons More than half of the mobile phones sold in India in 2013 were smart phones Same situation is repeated through out the world. Because of these main reasons, most of the people are effected by the cell phones usage.

Socializing For better or worse, cell phones are often an important part of teen social interaction.

Multiple Functions 3 rd generation mobile phones can be used to access email, listen to music, bank and shop online, store photos and songs, play games.

Useful for limited purposes and less effects on teenagers In the initial stages, very sensitive,emmits high radiation&causes health hazards. More effect on students & teenagers by having multi inbuilt options.

Through out the world Most of the students (83%) had some knowledge about the adverse effects of mobile phone usage. 76% of the students carried one mobile, and 23% more than one. 55% of the students reported the average daily MP use of less than 30 min, 27.97% are of 30-60 min, 11% are of 60-90 min and 4% are of more than 90 min. Statistical Results

16% of the subjects complained of headache and 24% of fatigue sleeplessness by 38%, hearing problems by 23%, and facial dermatitis by 18% Impaired concentration by 34% and memory disturbances by 40.56%

Conclusion Any way , we can’t live without having our mobile phones. we should take care about excessive usage of mobile phone in this globalized world The future of our nation is in the hands of the young generation that needs proper discipline, guidelines, rules and regulations
