25. Double subjects. You only need one subject in a sentence. If you repeat it, it sounds very unusual. In the sentence 'Football, it is my favourite sport', we don't need 'it' as 'football' is already the subject: Football is my favourite sport.

English speakers try to avoid saying things like 'I with my friends went to the cinema' or 'My friends and I went to the cinema'. A more 'natural' sentence is: I went to the cinema with my friends .

30. I was a guest at my friend’s house. I visited my friend . (correct) Phrases. English sometimes has a much simpler way of saying things! Instead of saying 'I was a guest at my relatives house', you can just say 'I visited my relatives'. Instead of saying 'My house is located in the city centre', you can say: My house is in the city centre.
