1. Welcome to my channel AGRI_DUBT. Today I’m going to discuss about Why you should join agriculture…?? Jobs, T op University, Eligibility criteria, courses that will be offered after entrance examination. And important dates regarding entrance examination.

2. BSc Agriculture is a 4 year undergraduate course that primarily focuses on research and practices in agricultural science, dealing with disciplines like Genetics and Plant Breeding, Agricultural Microbiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, etc. INTRODUCTION It is a professional degree recognized by the Government of India in the field of agricultural science. This course aims to provide training to implement modern agricultural techniques and technologies in the real world scenario .

There are many agricultural universities in India that offer BSc Agriculture program, approved by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), which regulates the teachings and implementation of agricultural research in India. The average BSc Agriculture fee is around INR 10,000 per year for the majority of the colleges, but for private institutions it is a bit high which can cost around INR 80,000 per year.

4. The BSc Agriculture Syllabus is formulated in such a way that after the course completion, students can become a successful Agricultural Scientist or Officer, and also go into the research studies in various government and private institutions. Other major jobs after BSc Agriculture can be Research Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Quality Assurance Officer, Farm Manager and Operations Manager with agriculture departments. The average starting salary can be between INR 3 to 6 lakh per annum.

5. BSc Agriculture Eligibility Interested students are required to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of BSc Agriculture course : Completion of Intermediate (12 years of school education) in Science stream . Physics , Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics as the subjects of study . Apart from this, candidates possessing Intermediate in Agriculture stream ( limited states ) are also eligible to apply for the course . Minimum age limit is 18 year and no upper age limit.

7. Why You Should Pursue BSc Agriculture? Considering that India is popular for farming and its agricultural land, this is one sector where you will never see a shortage of work . While there are abundant job options in this field, the idea behind this course is to have trained professionals for the better management of products and future developments. Good employment opportunities in State and Central Government ministries and departments, rural and nationalized banks, agricultural finance corporation research institutions, Krishi Vigyan kendras , agro-industry sector, various agricultural universities and service organizations . After pursuing B.Sc Agriculture, applicants can choose to set up their own business in economic sectors such as farming, plantation, mining, poultry farming, become entrepreneur , etc Applicants can also work as inspectors or agricultural managers in farm-related organizations , food processing unit, dairy fields, breeding centers and NGOs.
