3. Married life: She is married to k. onler Kom in 2005. They had twin sons and had their 3 rd baby boy in 2013 . Achievements: she is best known for being a five time world amateur boxing champion. And she is one of the best ever women boxers in the world. Coaches: she was best in athletics since her childhood, and it was Dingko Singh who inspired her to become a boxer in 2000. Training: under the eye of m. Narjit Singh , Manipur state boxing coach at Imphal.

4. 1.She is the first Indian boxer to qualify for the 2012 summer Olympics. 2.She is the first Indian women to win a gold at Asian games.. 3. sports women of the year 2010.

5. Life time awards: Mary kom is decorated with padma shri ,India's fourth highest civilian award in 2010. She is also honored with padma bhushan the third highest civilian award. In 2013. She won a gold medal in flyweight category in 2014 incheon Asian games.
