3. SENTENCE STRUCTURE: Arrangement of words and phrases to form coherent sentences. TYPES OF SENTENCES: It has mainly 4 types: Simple Sentence: Contains one independent clause Compound Sentence consists of two independent clauses joined by a coordinating conjunction. Complex Sentence: contains at least one dependent and one independent clause. Compound-complex: contains two or more independent clauses and at least one dependent clause.
