By the end of this session, you will be able to: Plan for the implementation of   Remedial Instruction in your classrooms by creating a sample Remedial Instruction lesson  using appropriate tools and strategies.

You will be successful if you can: select level-appropriate activities from the Remedial Instruction Toolkit and its various components incorporate Remedial Instruction activities from the toolkit using existing school lesson planning documents plan how to use the Remedial Instruction Toolkit in day-to-day lessons deliver the planned lesson to your peers and practice giving effective feedback using the Lesson Observation Tool

Each unit has a specific skill focus Mapped to CEFR levels and can do statements Mapped to 7 Effective Remedial Instruction Strategies Mapped to Scheme of Work Mapped to Get Smart Year 4 textbook Mapped to Year 1, Year 2, & Year 3 DSKP and Syllabus documents Includes printable resources for each lesson The toolkit is designed for teachers to support Remedial Students in every lesson . The philosophy is little and often; teachers should aim to find 15-minute slots in each lesson for Remedial activities. ACTIVITY Look at Unit 2 of the Remedial Instruction Toolkit and identify the remedial activities you plan to use. Plan a 15 –minute RI session using the activities in the Remedial Toolkit to be integrated into the lesson plan
