EPQ – Next Steps Initial ides page should be complete using the prompts from your lessons last term You should now be selecting which option to you are going to focus on You need to have a discussion with your supervisor (most likely the teacher delivering this lesson) about how you will proceed with this

3. Candidate Proposal Does your title…..? Have a sharp focus? Is it clear and specific? Lead you to research? Lead to a project that you can develop over time, stage by stage? Allow you to evaluate your progress and question at each stage? Go beyond anything you are studying at the moment?

Candidate Proposal Initial resources Discuss the university library and use examples of some key research you have found (at least three journals should me mentioned) Have you thought about any potential primary research? Would you want to include any questionnaires or interviews? DO NOT LIST – discuss! Courses of study How does it relate to anything you are currently studying? How does it take this further? Does it link any areas of study? Intended product What is your essay going to look like? Do you have a rough plan for the discussion?
