LEAD ENGINEER - Marine Safety and Security Team– St. Marys, GA – 2014 - 2020
• Supervised a team of 17 overseeing all aspects of asset maintenance. This included creating maintenance due lists,
workload distribution, data entry, supply purchasing and reconciliation, contractor bid and negotiation for over 14
million dollars’ worth of assets.
• Developed and facilitated training.
• Selected to be a Victim Advocate to work as a liaison with any sexually harassed or assaulted victims across the
service.
• Physical Inventory Control Officer responsible for approximately three million dollars’ worth of revolving inventory
resulting in 100% accountability across all audits.
• Safety Officer responsible for performing shoreside and shipboard inspections to ensure compliance.
• Team Lead for multiple successful missions while working directly under Secret Service performing Presidential
Security.

LEAD ENGINEER – USCG Aids to Navigation Team– New Orleans, LA – 2012 – 2014
• Supervised a team of nine responsible for maintenance to navigational aids along Mississippi River in Louisiana.
• Responsible for unit asset maintenance and repairs.
• Managed departmental supply needs as Primary Purchase Card Holder. Researched stored data from previous years
expenditures and was able to predict operational spending needs three months out from the end of the fiscal year
with less than 5% overage in maintenance materials.

2. • Acted as an Investigator in a Court Martial case that garnered media attention. The detailed findings submitted were
critical in the Courts ruling.
• Responsible for implementing a Coast Guard wide change to a maintenance procedure resulting in a cost savings of
over 94%.
• Awarded Commendation Medal upon departure.

ASSISTANT ENGINEERING PETTY OFFICER, USCGC KINGFISHER– Jacksonville, FL– 2010-2012
• Supervised three personnel as units AEPO.
• Responsible for ships maintenance and repairs.
• Watch stander coordinator for shipboard personnel.
• Federal Officer tasked with federal law enforcement.
• Interim Lead ship engineer responsible for determining the work needed for all systems during a 16-week depot
maintenance dry dock. Worked directly under the Port Engineer and responsible for sourcing materials needed,
assisting in creating the scope of work, performing QA for inspections, closing out completed work, and assisting in
budgeting. Participated in update meetings with contractors to evaluate progress and to raise any work or budgeting
concerns.
• Performed hundreds of ship inspections as a Federal Officer resulting in 4 commercial vessel terminations due to
unsafe operating infractions, 2 arrests, and a drug seizure.
• Designed, oversaw, and evaluated monthly shipboard drills with zero personnel or machinery casualties as a Safety
Officer and part of the Damage Control Training Team.
MACHINERY TECHNICIAN, D7 TACTICAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TEAM– Miami, FL– 2007-2010
• Part of a team responsible for developing the Coast Guards “Pursuit Program”, primarily used today as the standard
for migrant and drug trafficking interdiction.
• Worked as a facilitator to train and certify thousands of Coast Guard personnel. Our unit was looked at as subject
experts in the development of service wide policy regarding interdiction.
• Operated on multiple high stress counter narcotics missions which resulted in multiple seizures.
• Participated in the 2009 Tradewinds Nassau as an Instructor/Facilitator for military representatives from 19 nations.
Developed a lesson plan for 3 courses throughout the 10-day exercise and taught courses in both English and
Spanish.
