Abstract: The significance of various forms of physical activity and exercise for the
enhancement of health in general and mental health in particular is so distinct.
Keeping this in mind the present study aims to compare mental health status of gym
going (GG) and non gym going (NGG) students. Fifty students (25 GG and 25
NGG) of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh were taken as the subjects of the study.
The age of the subjects ranged from 17 24 years. GG and NGG students were those
who are studying in undergraduate course at AMU, Aligarh. The mental health status
of the subjects was measured by using Mental health checklist (MHC) constructed by
Kumar (1992). The t test was used to compare the mean score of GG students and
NGG students. The result of the study indicated that significant difference exists
between GG students and NGG students at 0.05 level of significance.

mom left to the United States as an immigrant to work so she can be able to give
her poor children a better living. After 11 years of tears, sadness and loneliness pass
Enrique decides to go to North Carolina in search of his mother. Family is the central
theme of Enrique s Journey. By basing her investigation around Enrique s story,
Nazario explores the ways that immigration affects an individual s family. Lourdes
insistently believes that she is acting in the most responsible way as a parent by
traveling to the U.S. for work. Though she initially makes the trip for her children,
they immediately feel the heartbreak of separation beginning with Enrique who is
asking where his mother is. Their whole notion of family becomes completely broken

My life has been filled with many trials and obstacles that I overcame, many of
these were not easy, but they have contorted and shaped me into the person that I
have developed into. If my life did not turn out the way it had, I feel like I would not
have made it to Mines, I would not have completed as many accomplishments as I
have. These obstacles showed me that I have the capability of completing anything
that I set my mind to, thus nothing is impossible.
