never repay you. John Bunyan. Last summer, I had the pleasure of doing just that.
Baton Rogue in Louisiana was city devastated by flooding but united by service.
Our church wished to help, and as luck would have it the St. Bernard Project
organization would sponsor a volunteer group down to Baton Rogue to help
rebuild houses. I wished to be a part of the group, and I was permitted after our
youth director agreed to include the 9th graders as well. I was very excited and
was ready to go. My sister, Hailey, would be going with me sorta like my guide.
Little did I know that this trip would change my view of what it means to be an
American and my ideas on volunteering forever. Our bus was loaded in the parking
lot of the church, and after saying goodbye to our parents, I hopped on and settled
down for a long ride. Twenty five hours is a very long time to be on a bus granted
we stopped for meals along the way. When we finally pulled into the hotel in Baton

theories and ideas revolving around it. Two very well known individuals, as well as

somewhere else. Due to prisons overcrowding, they were still thinking where to put
all these convict. Their solution, was to put them in old, rotting prison ship known as
hulks. Hulks were normally old naval ships that could not go out into sea and fight
but they were still able to safely float on the water in the harbour. Once all the hulks
were full with convicts, they began shipping them out to Australia because they

Everyone might have once imagined dark environments and scary creatures which
live in the deep sea. These childlike dreams are visualized in the popular novel,
Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea. In the novel, the main character, Pierre
Aronnax, searches for a mysterious sea monster while fighting with scary undersea
creatures. Although many undersea creatures have been depicted in the novel, one of
the striking deep sea creatures would be a giant octopus. This octopus is depicted as a
scary creatures that threatens the main character. Many people might think the
creatures are fake, but the giant octopus exists, which is also well known by today s
scientists.
The deep sea normally is interpreted as the lowest layer in the ocean, existing below
the thermocline and above the seabed, at a depth of 6,000 feet or more. As shown
in the novel, the deep sea has been a mysterious and interesting theme for a long

Observation and Requirements Gathering
Introduction
The purpose of the report is to gather beneficial information that is important to the
user of a workout app, such as features, usability, and functionalities.
Method
Five people provided interviews to gather the user observations. All five of these
people enjoy exercising on a daily basis. The group is comprised of three men and
two women. All were interviewed in person with pen and paper for data gathering.
The data that was gathered was then interpreted into needs and from that a survey was
developed.
Results
The questions in Appendix A could get the most out of users because they cover all
aspects of design and they are simple. The most common feature in the app was
music control. It would be more convenient for the users to access and control their
music directly in the app without having to access their devices native music app.
One particular item of interest is the fact that no one mentioned anything about social
media connectivity. Some of the features discussed were GPS tracking, music control,
workout comparison and goal metrics.
